Utsjoki is located right by the Norwegian border and only a stone´s throw away from the Arctic Ocean. Hop on our minibus and join us on a guided full-day tour to the coast of the Arctic Ocean, to Varanger Fjord. The tour includes guided transportation to sites at Varanger Fjord (Nesseby, Mortensnes, Varangerbotn, Vestre Jakobselv), hot drinks and locally prepared lunch, and tickets to Sea Sámi Museum. Varanger Fjord is loaded with intriguing archeological history since the last ice age. Small villages on the coast have been living from fishing and trade since medieval period. Varanger Fjord has a rich cultural history of the Sámi, Norwegians and Kvens, a rich wildlife of arctic seabirds and fauna of the Arctic Ocean. Duration: 6-8 hours Price: 275 euros/person (children 0-12 yrs 150 euros) What is included: Full day guided trip to Arctic Ocean, hot drinks and lunch, entrance to museum. What to bring: Warm outdoor clothing (wind is very cold by the ocean!), water bottle, snacks, personal medication if needed, phone with full battery, passport (we cross the border to Norway).
