The easiest way to reach Utsjoki is by car or bus. With Travel Utsjoki, you can book transportation on our minibus to and from your accommodation in Utsjoki from the nearest airports in Ivalo (Finland) or Kirkenes (Norway), or Kirkenes Harbor, Hurtigruten cruise. You can also reserve a transfer to most hiking routes in Utsjoki region, such as Sulaoja and Kenesjärvi by Kevo Nature Reserve hiking trails. ​

You can also check the public bus schedule from Matkahuolto. There is a shuttle once a day from Ivalo airport to Utsjoki or from Rovaniemi to Utsjoki. More shuttles operate to Inari/Kaamanen, so you can also request for pick-up from those villages to your accommodation in Utsjoki!

The municipality of Utsjoki has a rental car that also visitors can rent for short-term use (max one day) with the Omago app. If you are staying close to Utsjoki village (and during winter season you are comfortable with the idea of driving in winter conditions), the municipality rental car Toyota RAV4 is the perfect solution!
